A swipe right on Hinge, a “Hey how was your weekend”, and a match made in heaven.

That’s all it really took. Abbey swiped right on Andrew on the dating app Hinge, after a night celebrating a Cavs victory in a January 2024. Andrew received the notification and despite the Casanova he is, he waited a few days; he was nervous of what to say to her! For those that don't know, Hinge is a place where the first impression means everything! You need to say something that will grab the other person’s attention to help continue a conversation. However, the best he could come up with was a simple “Hey, how was your weekend?”. That fortunately was enough to reel her in and the rest was history: We’ve talked every day since!

A first date at Humble Wine Bar in Lakewood, Andrew was smitten by Abbey's smile, her family-oriented nature, and her love of all thing's sports (especially golf)! Abbey echoed the same sentiments and even enjoyed his sense of humor and corny dad jokes!

From making our relationship official in the parking lot of The Wild Eagle, Florida trips, date nights at Chick-Fil-A, enjoying the sun up in Marblehead, spending time with each other's family, and many adventures in between, all have culminated in this special day! We are very excited to share this love with all of you and look forward to this day as the beginning of our life together!
